Title: A Dangerous Game

Description: I wrote a thesis paper on the 1963 Mississippi State University Basketball Team and their controversial decision to play an integrated team in the NCAA tournament. I wrote about how the school made this decision, and how it was a key turning point in the Civil Rights Movement and the end of segregation in southern college athletics. In April 2018, I presented this paper at the Creative Arts Festival at Jackson State University.
